Indie game Hades is the highest grossing next-gen game on Metacritic at the time of writing.
Both in the list of top-grossing PlayStation 5 as Xbox Series X games, Hades is at the top. The average score of the PS5 version is 93 and the Xbox Series X version is 94. This beats the average of games like the Demon’s Souls remake, Ori and the Will of the Wisps, Microsoft Flight Simulator and Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade.
Hades was previously available for PC and Nintendo Switch and is also available on PlayStation and Xbox consoles as of earlier this month. The game is developed by Supergiant Games, the studio behind Bastion and Transistor.
