Electric mobility is coming to the transport of goods and also to airplanes
DHL Express announced the acquisition of twelve copies of the Alice all-electric airplane, manufactured by the Americans of Eviation.
The 12 units ordered from Eviation will be delivered in 2024. They have an autonomy of 815 km and can carry up to 1200 Kg.

The units ordered by DHL should be delivered in 2024 and will allow the freight company to take a huge step towards building a more sustainable fleet, on the way of the total decarbonization of its activity.

The Alice can be piloted by only one person and is able to carry 1,200 kilos.
It has an autonomy of 815 km and requires 30 minutes of loading for each hour of flight, and loading is expected to occur during the loading and unloading of goods, in order to maximize its use.
It should be noted that Eviation also developed Alice thinking in passenger transport and that the inaugural flight is scheduled for the end of this year.
