Corpoelec was not present at the meeting last Tuesday, nor has it offered any statements regarding this point.
Will incidents between miners and authorities in Venezuela stop?
The same source revealed that incidents between legally well-established miners and police and military officials, as well as those of the Government, continued to occur sporadically of Carabobo and Corpoelec, although not all reported publicly.
Several of these episodes have been repeated throughout this year; one of them occurred in Carabobo state in January, where more than 4 0 mining equipment was seized in a police operation .
