The remake of Dead Space will be one continuous shot, according to developer EA Motive.
This is apparent from a interview with the team behind the game. “The super-fast SSDs on more modern systems allow for very fast loading,” says director Roman Campos-Oriola. “Our intention is to provide a completely uninterrupted experience, it will be one seamless shot, from the home screen to the ending credits.”Also emphasized EA Motive that the game is not a reboot, but a “reinterpretation” of the original game. “The main source of inspiration is the original vision for Dead Space,” explains art director Mike Yazijian. “We’re following the story, the art direction, everything, out of respect for the original game. We’re also removing some stuff from the original that doesn’t work, to make sure the game remains relevant to a modern audience – but even that’s very done with care.”The Dead Space remake is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, and PC. According to Venturebeat , the game should be released by the end of next year, if development goes well.
