Al-Arabiya sources confirmed on Tuesday evening that Egypt did not host any Iranian security delegation and did not hold any talks with Tehran, and Cairo stipulated stopping Tehran’s interference before any similar step.

It is noteworthy that Tehran has more than once planned for security and intelligence coordination with Cairo, through Iranian security officials, but that Cairo refused due to various reservations, according to the sources.
It is noteworthy that Iran is interfering in several Arab countries such as Lebanon, Iraq and Yemen, where it supports militias loyal to it that undermine the sovereignty of those countries.
