It is worth buying such a TV now, either at home or in the office

As everything gets smarter around us, TVs offer more and more, not only in terms of resolution and screen size, but also in terms of features. While 3D support is dead, there are other considerations to consider when choosing from the bountiful offering.

Surely we can enjoy a nicer view by choosing an LED TV instead of a projector, and if we are not sitting in a huge lecture hall but in an average meeting room, it is also worth considering replacing the projector with a TV.

Size matters

First, it’s worth deciding which picture diagonal is best for us because someone can afford a 75 “TV , you may not have to choose it yet.If we can’t sit far enough away from it, our eyes can get tired quickly, it becomes uncomfortable to watch TV, however, if we take our seats too far, we will not see the important details.

If the sofa or chairs are 1.5-3.5 meters from where we put the TV, the 55 “size is optimal, but between 2.5 and 4 meters it is already better for the 65”, 3 to 5 meters 75 “will be the best choice for distance.

The next step is to look at the resolution, but here the decision is not difficult: choose UHD s (4K) device! Basically, Full HD (1080p) may be enough for a lot of things, but it’s already the target for a lot of 4K content, movie and serial streaming providers, and the latest video games. There’s no price difference that’s worth giving down, and the presentations look much better on the nicer screen as well; the text will be sharper, the graphics will show better. However, we can safely pass the 8K, because there is not too much optimized content for the time being, and displays with such a resolution are very expensive anyway. we choose one that supports the technology (you should also check for Dolby Vision support, although this is more important for home entertainment). The better the refresh rate, the higher the image will be smooth enough at 60 or 120 Hz, which we can enjoy in games, movies and sports. In terms of panel, it is worth choosing OLED or QLED instead of LCD, the difference is spectacular in favor of the latter (but OLED is now the best of the affordable devices).

Be smart!

It’s a good idea to check out what connectors are available, but HDMI 2.0 is standard for many. Anyone who thinks about the future will do well to choose one with an HDMI 2.1 connector, but this is especially important for those who also want to play video games on PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series consoles. The more connectors, the better, because switching between connected devices is much easier if you just have to bother pressing the remote control, not pinching the cables.

Finally, it’s a good idea to take a look at smart TV features and applications. . Many Samsung, LG, and other devices, for example, support AirPlay, so users of Apple products can transfer images from their smartphones, tablets, or laptops to the big screen without a user cord and additional devices. Applications for Netflix, Spotify, YouTube, and other popular services are typically found on all newer devices.
