Glasgow City Council has confirmed that around 85,000 households will receive gift cards worth just over £100.

The Scottish Government gave £9.456 million to the council. for in project from Scotland loves local campaign which encourages communities to “think, choose and love local” with this funding comes from the Scottish Government’s £80m Covid Recovery Fund.
Of these, £8.85m will be directly used to highlight gift cards with £423,110 to be used by the council as discretionary funding for support groups also under the influence current cost of life crisis.
