Kumar Galhotra, president of Ford Blue, will be speaking at the Automotive News Congress in Detroit on September 12th.

Galhotra, who leads Ford Motor Co.’s gasoline-powered vehicle business, will join a lineup of keynote speakers that includes General Motors President Mark Reuss and Hyundai Motor Co. President Jose Muñoz.

The theme of the event is “Investing in Innovation,” with a focus on the future of electrification, infrastructure, and sustainability in the auto industry.

Other panelists at the congress include ZF North America President Martin Fischer, Fox Motor President Diane Maher, and Assembly Ventures co-founder Jessica Robinson.

Automotive News will showcase the latest game-changing innovations from PACE Award finalists and present pilot pre-commercialized innovations from PACEpilot finalists. The event will also introduce this year’s class of Rising Stars.

The congress will take place on the eve of the North American International Detroit Auto Show, which runs from September 13th to 24th.
