Saudi Professor: Donkey Milk Is Good for Health
Saudi professor of pharmacology, Dr. Jaber Al-Qahtani, said that milk in general can lead to the death of those suffering from lactose intolerance, adding that donkey milk is good for health and some people use it as a treatment.
The Variations in Milk Types
Al-Qahtani said during an interview with Mozoon yesterday, Monday, “All types of milk contain fat and cholesterol, but the percentage varies from one type to another, whether it’s camel, sheep or cow’s milk,” noting that the percentage present in camel milk does not harm humans.
He continued, “Some people like horse milk, some people use donkey milk as a treatment and it’s true, and some people drink donkey milk and find it healthy.”
Lactose Intolerance and Milk Sugar
He pointed out that the milk sugar lactose is not found in most vegetables and fruits, while it is found in milk, but those who are allergic to lactose should not take it, because most of them, by eating it, may be exposed damage that can lead to death.
Milk Nutrients
The doctor pointed out that all types of milk contain minerals such as milk, copper, magnesium, calcium and others, in addition to the types of sugars.
