According to her, the cause of numbness of the limbs could be foci or expansion of the spinal cord.

Carpal tunnel syndrome

She says: “Another common cause of numbness in the upper extremities, namely the hands, is carpal tunnel syndrome, when there is compression of the nerve at the level of the wrist joints. There are only three of them – radial, ulnar and median. Each of them is responsible for the nerves of certain fingers. And based on which fingers are more disturbing, you can determine the affected nerve.

Other potential causes

In addition, nerve fibers often suffer from diabetes and excessive alcohol consumption, as a person in this case feels a burning sensation and numbness in the hands and feet.

She says: “A person may feel numbness in the arms and legs due to the use of certain types of medications, such as antibiotics and anticoagulants, as well as during chemotherapy.”
