Coffee Consumption Guidelines
According to Dr. Dianova, the results of many studies indicate that a certain amount of coffee should be consumed daily, no more than two cups a day, but at different times, such as in the morning and at five in the afternoon. It turned out that coffee has a negative effect on the esophagus and stomach, as it causes an increase in the secretion of hydrochloric acid.
The expert notes that excessive consumption of coffee can cause heartburn. So instead of drinking coffee, you can take short naps during the day, or do simple exercises to warm up your body muscles and get you back active.
Alternatives to Coffee
You should refrain from drinking coffee in case of exacerbation of stomach ulcers, cirrhosis of the liver, pancreatitis, and palpitations and replace it with chicory, which tastes and smells like coffee. In addition, this drink contains many useful substances and has a positive effect on the body.
