Introduction

Bungie informs us that the Solstice event is coming up destination 2 has started. A new trailer gets us in the right mood and the press release is bursting with info:

Event Details

Today, Eva Levante returns to the Tower with a warm welcome to the annual Solstice, celebrating the common ground that helps build a brighter future. The celebrations take place from July 18 to August 8. During this time, Guardians can play the Bonfire Party activity to earn rewards such as armor and the first-ever String Rocket Launcher, Crowning Dialogue.

This year there is another chance to earn the Solstice Seal and the Flame Keeper title by completing the event challenges. Additionally, Solstice 2023 sunglasses can be unlocked for purchase by completing the Fuel on the Fire challenge during the event. Once these items are unlocked through Bungie Rewards, they can available from the Bungie Store.
