Overview

State statistics revealed that the number of old manual documents transferred to the integrated system “electronic document” since the beginning of this year amounted to 190.7 thousand documents for real estate, of which about 75% are residential buildings, and commercial – 25%.

Region-wise Transactions

Asir District came in second with 21,986 property transactions, followed by East Region with 21,459 property transactions, followed by Mecca Al Mukarrama with 19,441 property transactions and Qasim region with 11,775 property transactions, followed by Hail region with 11,616 real estate transactions, followed by Al-Jawf with 8,405 real estate transactions, and then Medina with 6,508 real estate transactions updated to a comprehensive system. Updated Acts in Different Regions

The number of updated acts in the scriptures of the Jazan region is estimated at 6055 acts, followed by Tabuk with 3937 acts, and the Najran region with 3871 real estate acts updated, followed by Al-Baha with 3532 acts.

Northern border notaries recorded the least number of old hand instruments that were upgraded to the comprehensive “electronic instrument” system by converting 2,907 instruments to an updated electronic instrument in the last period.

Real Estate Deed Conversion Process

The request service for converting a real estate deed into an electronic document consists of submitting a request with a copy of the deed in electronic form along with other documents through the Gates of Justice, and when the request is completed, a message is sent to the beneficiary to receive their electronic document.

The Ministry provides a manual document update service for an integrated system to support the “digitization” of real estate document data, which facilitates real estate procedures for beneficiaries.
