Jam Master Jay’s Murder Suspect Identified

Moscow, May 31 – A US court has charged 49-year-old Jay Bryant with the murder of rapper Jam Master Jay (Jason Mizell) in 2002, according to the New York Post.
Previously, Bryant had already been held in a drug trafficking case, which was not related to the death of a musician.
In 2020, two more men were charged with murder – Carl Jordan Jr. and Ronald Washington.
According to the source, Jam Master Jay was shot dead in October 2002 after a failed deal with drug dealers. All three defendants were at that moment next to the rapper. However, the killer is still unknown.
Jam Master Jay gained popularity in the 1980s as a member of the trio Run-DMC. The musicians have recorded seven studio albums, with a circulation of more than 20 million copies. Despite the fact that the team achieved great success in its genre, it broke up after the death of a colleague.
