Mohamed Al-Ghamri, chief investigator of the Egyptian first electric car project, has revealed the details of the manufacturing and production of the first Egyptian electric car, indicating that the first car will be produced at the end of 2023.

Al-Ghamri explained that efforts are ongoing to produce 5,000 electric vehicles per month to cover the Egyptian market in the early stages: production starts at 500 vehicles per month, then 1,000 until 5,000 vehicles per month are reached within 6 months.
Dr. Mohamed Al Ghamri stressed that “Egypt has a comprehensive program to enter the electric vehicle market through cooperation between automotive companies and the Academy of Science and Technology.”
