Washington, May 3 – NBC reported, citing a local prosecutor, that a suspect in the murder of five people in Texas was arrested after a four-day search.
Law enforcement agencies believe that they managed to find Francisco Urubez, a 38-year-old illegal immigrant from Mexico, who last Friday shot neighbors with an automatic rifle and asked him to stop shooting under the windows.
San Jacinto County Attorney Todd Dillon said, “Authorities are waiting for fingerprints to confirm that the man who was arrested is indeed Oropeza… He has been sent to the Montgomery County Jail and charged with first degree murder.”
The suspect was arrested in the town of Cut and Shut, 16 miles from the crime scene. The research involved 250 employees of various law enforcement agencies.
