Elections for the Punjab Assembly lead to Civil War: Siraj

LAHORE: Emir Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Sirajul Haq said on On Friday, that holding only elections to the Punjab Assembly will lead to protests and civil war.

Speaking to media, Haq said: “Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) head Maulana Fazlur Rehman also contacted. He also wanted improve the country. It will take time to reach the scheduled date of elections”.

Sirajul Haq said, “There is a political crisis in the country right now. in a country. Along with political crisis is also economic and constitutional crisis. no case of common people in National Assembly, Senate and Supreme Court.”

emphasizing need for holding simultaneous elections, Mr. Haq said: issue of elections are not only for one or two parties. But 230 million people are concerned about the elections.”

Speaking of Gwadar, Mr. Haq lamented: “Gwadar was made spectacle for whole world. Gwadar – sensitive city regarding the CPEC. have a terrible need for complete world in this area. IN terms of solidarity with Gwadar fishermen, JI protest across the country on 1st of May”.

“We are not want our country to become Libya. it became difficult for the poor to breathe because of severe economic hardship,” he argued. Mr. Haq stated: “The judges of the court is not on same page. They are also quarreled among themselves. We are not want conflict. Due with receiving on the same page on conducting transparent surveys, we in constant contact with political parties”.

He added”Negotiations took place with Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Awami People’s Party (APP). prime minister wanted us leave it closed street. Imran Khan also gave a positive answer.

“The Supreme Court itself has stated that political parties should find way by themselves until April 27th. After Eid al-Adha we speed up this process”, Mr. Hack added.
