PTI Forms Committee for dialogue get out of the political impasse

LAHORE: Opposition Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party formed a committee of three, including former Ministers Perwaiz Khattak, Ejaz Chaudhry and Mian Mehmood ur-Rashid to attend in A dialogue with Jamaat-i-Islami on political crisis in a country.

This development comes after Siraj ul-Haq, the leader of a religious group launched a “consensus offensive”aimed at bringing government and confrontation closer announced Asad Umar, secretary general of V party.

Hack recently met with former prime minister Imran Khan and his successor Shehbaz Sharif in Lahore where he offered creation of committee to reach greater consensus for elections in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and finally the whole country.

Khan accused government of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) coalition of trying to get it out of V way participate in elections after thousands of his supporters were chosen up from all over the country.

Elections in Punjab and also in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa – due to on May 14 – were announced after the dissolution of parliaments of the two provinces, which together make up for 70 percent of nation population.

Haq seeks to bring all parties to the negotiating table and find a solution to the political crisis.
