Mafia 4, the most recent game in the series (if you exclude the Definitive Editions), was officially announced to be in development last year, more than six years after Mafia 3’s release. The main plot points, the environment, and the characters are fleshed out during this phase of the creation cycle. Concept art and elaborate designs start to become more detailed in the surroundings. A few months ago, it was made public that Mafia 4 might be a prequel before the first three films. Developer Hanger 13 is switching away from the technology used to create Mafia 3 and the Definitive Editions of the earlier games. It will be produced in Unreal 5. (s).

Although the game is rumored to be in pre-production, aspects, especially the setting, are undoubtedly subject to change. The game will be a prequel set in Sicily, the mafia’s home. It will take place decades before the first Mafia game, which let players take control of Tommy Angelo in the 1930s.
