Belgorod, March 1 – The governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, who had previously spoken about his illness, denied the information about the attempt on his life.
Earlier, Gladkov noted that he was under the supervision of doctors, because he was “sick”, but “there is nothing critical.”
During a live broadcast on the Vkontakte social network, the governor was asked if this could have been an attempt on his life.
“Everything is very simple,” said the head of the district, “there was food poisoning, it’s completely home. I am very grateful to the doctors, and I am recovering.”
The governor indicated that he was already at his workplace, in his office. “Don’t worry, there were no threats here and there aren’t any,” Gladkov added.
