ISLAMABAD: Ambassador of South Korea Mr. Su Sangpyo on Monday handed over five units of computer equipment [scanners] director of ministry of Foreign Pakistanis to promote the overseas employment system.
The donation was made in order support prompt administrative processing of Work Permit System (E9) project, which is implemented under the Memorandum of Mutual Understanding (MoU) reached between the Republic of Korea and Pakistan.
The ceremony of handing over units of equipment took place of computer equipment it could be
used in various ways, such as passport scanning, to the country of departure (OEC) for free
of accusation, and exchanged views on Unresolved issues of employment
Permit system (E9) project between two countries.
Ambassador of Korea, Mr. Soo Sangpyo, praised the fact that Pakistani workers receive more workplaces in Korea under the Employment Permit System (E9) and also said he would cooperate to further expand EPS project in V future.
It is worth mentioning that in 2022, about 2,000 Pakistani workers. found Job in South
Korea through the work permit system (E9).
