KARACHI: District Officers on Return (DRO) on Friday rejected applications for telling on seven places LG in Malir and Kemari.
DRO Malir rejected four applications of Pakistan People’s Party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and Jamaat-e-Islami for vote paraphrase with reference to results at least five percent. In Kemari, DRO also rejected three applications for vote retell on the same land. Sources say there is no recount. place in Southern and Eastern districts of Karachi.
Previously PTI and Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) disputed results of three seats of advisors in Baldia UC-2 in Karachi LG Polls in Supreme Court of Sindh. The court said that according to the law, he can’t hear plea regarding the alleged “falsification” in polling stations now and instructed the parties to contact the electoral tribunal on in issue. It can be noted that all political parties make accusations of falsifications during LG polls in Karachi.
