Pakistani Ambassador to China Moin-ul-Haq stressed the urgency of active action to combat climate change and international mitigation cooperation of changing of the climate.
He addressed online launch ceremony for a series of charity eventsco-hosted China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation and Embassy of Pakistan in Beijing.
Moin ul Haq said over 33 million people in Pakistan has been hit by unprecedented rainfall and devastating floods. millions of people in urgent need of humanitarian aid.
International organizations, Chinese think tanks, NGOs and members of youth leagues took part in event.
They called for active mitigation action of climate change and support reconstruction of Pakistan after last devastating summer floods caused climate change.
