PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmoud Khan on Saturday confirmed he wouldn’t hesitate for even a moment to dissolve provincial assembly, how and when he was instructed to party chairman Imran Khan do it.
“I have always said that I am a humble worker of (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan. i owe it office to him. I would not hesitate for a minute if he asks me dissolve provincial assembly. Chief Minister Khan said.
He denied the allegations in in news media credited to him that he will send a summary with a request for dissolution of CP Assembly to the Governor on Saturday evening.
“Is not true,” he said Dawn. “I said we’re all waiting for notification of dissolution of Punjab Assembly. We initiate the process [in KP] when the chairman asks us to do this”.
“The moment I move resume, I will send a picture of it to all of you on WhatsApp,” said the boss minister said during the swearing-in ceremony of new-elected body of Peshawar Press Club.
He ridiculed those who claimed that he was in Lahore for consultations. “What is there to advise? How can I say no to Imran Khan? – he asked. “The moment I receive a nod from Imran Khan, the provincial assembly will cease to exist.”
Cabinet insiders say they were still hoping for party the chairman will listen to their proposal to keep the KP government intact. “It up he should take it now final call”said the cabinet minister.
