ISLAMABAD: Vice President of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Fawad Chaudhry presented strategy if the Speaker of the National Assembly (NA) rejects the resignation of MNA, according to ARY News. on Sunday.
“PTI will appeal to the Supreme Court (SC) if the Speaker of the National Assembly rejects the resignation of its members of National Assembly (MNAs),” Fawad Ch said during a speech on ARY News Aiteraz Hai. on Sunday.
He lamented, “We have submitted mass resignations and are going to the meeting together to confirm our resignations.”
He criticized that the congregation would never receive respect if 60 percent of legislators are “criminals”. Fawad argued that the current assembly was not true representative of country and has no legal status that prevents PTI from returning to parliament.
He also said that PTI would dissolve assembly together to go forward for new elections in 66 percent of a country.
As for seat adjustment. with Pakistan Muslim League Quaid (PML-Q) Fawad Chaudhry said negotiations are underway. He expressed hope that 187 deputies would announce their support in Punjab Assembly.
He said the PML-Q legislators won’t win any victory without support of PTI. He claimed that PML-Q victories in in past we made possible with PTI support.
Previously in day, PTI Chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan said that vote of confidence will take place until January 11 general elections are likely to take place in April.
During a conversation with senior reporters, Imran Khan stated that he did not in contact with institution. He predicted that general elections will be held in April.
“When two assemblies are dissolved, they are obliged to hold general elections. We don’t care if the elections postponed even after termination of assembly.”
