Rebecca Ikumelo, who died after being wounded in in love at Brixton Academy concert, was “charming mother” famous for her “care, kindness and love”, her family said.
Ms. Ikumelo, 33 years old, died on Saturday morning while two others women – aged 21 and 23 – remain in a critical condition in hospital.
well known for her TikTok posts about raising an autistic child, she was considered hilarious, bright and devoted mother-of-two.
In her statement family said, “Rebecca was a graduate of care. She was charming mother of two children who loved to work with Children.
“She was highly respected. in in family for her care, kindness and love.
“Her parents call her Tosin (short) for Oluwatosin), which means “God is worthy”.
She was among about 1000 people at a concert by singer Asaka at the Brixton Academy when the tragedy struck.
Freeze weather and slippery conditions, they turned up to final sold-out show which was stopped when conditions outside the concert became unsafe.

“Let us please hold her family in our prayers. I have spoken to them and will continue to do so.
“I am amazed with grief and could never imagine anything like it happens”.
