Government of Sindh allocates land for federal university in Hyderabad

KARACHI: In a major developmentSindh government allocated 100 acres of free land for institution of institute for Technology and Management Sciences (ITMS) in Hyderabad.

The land was given in Ganjo Thakkar village, Taluka Latifabad, Hyderabad district.

In addition, Minister of Land Management Danish Said also wrote a letter to the Deputy Commissioner in Hyderabad, who approved the proposal.

The letter says the land is reserved in service of Higher Education Commission (HEC), government of Pakistan, to be used for a public institute of education.

it should note that the institution for Technology and Management Sciences will be a federal accreditation institution under the Federal Commission on Higher Education.

It is appropriate to mention here that former prime minister Imran Khan 2019 made a groundbreaking of Hyderabad University during the ceremony in Islamabad.

As soon as this up up and running, HITMS will be Hyderabad second public university after century-Old State College Kali Mori, also is being updated.
