US agency for International Development (USAID) released a report of joint projects with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government including 47 health posts, Gomalsam Dam and 1,300 km of roads, reports ARY News.
According to the USAID report, they restored 47 health in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, subject to equipment to six hospitals and provided assistance in building of burn unit for 120 beds in Peshawar.
In addition, USAID provided assistance of $130 million up to build Gomalsam Dam, comprising 1,92,000 acres of land in Dera Ismail Khan and Taank can be grown.
USAID also helped in building of at least 1300 km of roads, trained over 14,000 teachers and provided free books over 600 000 children- the report says.
USAID also provided scholarships to at least 8,000 university students and built 229 new schools. They are also helped in restoration of over 1000 schools affected by terrorism added.

Report adds what total of 80 water filtration units built in Peshawar and helped over 1.9 million people in reconstruction of them homes suffered from terrorism.
