KARACHI: Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah in meeting on flood emergency on Thursday said that flood victims of Sinds live on the roads, ARY News reports.
presiding over a session on flood Emergency and assistance, Shah stressed on in need for quick purchase of soldering to help the injured of flood disaster.
“I visited several areas of Sindh, flood damaged katchi houses, crops, roads and government buildings,” said Murad Ali Shah.
He led for grade of loss through union advice and provision of necessary items affected people.
“Tents at once required provide flood affected, the provincial disaster management authority (PDMA) ordered for security of 1,86,000 tents”, minister said.
He said less shelter flood victims of Sinds began to live on the roads.
Chief Minister asked V Corps to extend help in purchase of tents, “we will provide funds for It.”
Meeting also decided that V Corps would be also prolong help to Sindh government in distribution of relief items.
