IHC puts off plea seek an end of The case of rebellion against jill

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Wednesday adjourned hearing for indefinite term on notice of termination of sedition case registered against PTI leader Shahbaz Gill.

IHC Acting Chief Justice Aamer Farouk heard a case filed by Shahbaz Gill asking the court to dismiss the case. first information report (FIR) filed by Kohsar Police Station.

During the hearing, Special Prosecutor Rizwan Abbasi asked the court to give for subordination of some relevant documents in a business. However, Gill counsel Lawyer Shoaib Shaheen asked the court to provide a copy of transcript of his client’s statement and a certified copy of ruling of the highest court.

Judge Farouk noted that this case was related to the termination of FIR and asked for defense counsel view 2012 order of Supreme Court for annulment of RICH. Judge Farouk further said that he would not available for next two weeks and adjourned the case for indefinite term.

The court has already notices sent to respondents, including Metropolitan Police officials, Justice of the Peace concerned and others in a business.
