Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Monday got big bench cause disrespect of trial against PTI Chairman and former Prime Minister Imran Khan for ‘menacing’ extra-trial judge Zeba Chaudhry during his speech in Islamabad on Saturday.
high court decision comes after the IHC registrar sent a notice to Acting Chief Justice Aamer Farooq stating that the head of PTI used “threatening language” in his speech against female referee of additional sessions.
On Saturday, Imran, speaking at a rally in Islamabad’s F-9 park, said Judge Zeba Chaudhry knew that the prisoner party leader Shahbaz Gill was tortured but she did not release him on pledge. He threatened to take action against referee and IGP Islamabad.
Imran was also booked in case of terrorism on a complaint of Islamabad Saddar Magistrate Ali Javed for threaten the judge.

Imran released on bail
Previously in day IHC granted three days bail to PTI chairman in happening of “threatened” the female judge with additional sittings and ordered him to show bail worth 5,000 rupees and apply to the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) by August 25th.

Imran counsel Babar Avan claimed that the judge of ATC was on leave, hence they approached the IHC.
The Court noted that the application had not yet been considered in connection with the objection of registrar office on It.
Registrar office said Imran did not take the biometrics and asked why the head of PTI went to the high court. instead of ATC. It was further said that the verified copy of no terrorism case was presented.
Avan claimed that Imran should be granted bail because he wanted to appear before the ATC, but his house was surrounded by the police.
He feared that the police arrest Imran if he appeared in court without bail.
PTI lawyer took position in the app that Imran didn’t have criminal record in in past he had never been convicted and that he was willing to present himself for investigation whenever the court has ruled.
It was further said in in plea that Imran is not going to escape or interfere with record of accusation.
Judge Kajaani said that the trial was granting the PTI chairman a three-day bail and that they should approach ATC during this period.

He also demanded strict measures against those found involved in such a disgusting act with “iron fist” to one dare to indulge in such a malicious act, ever again.
