Business centers and shops remained closed in most parts of Hyderabad on Monday after the riots over incident of alleged desecration of Holy Koran.
Law enforcement agencies used tear gas and opened fire on air in different areas of Hyderabad on Sunday in a rage crowds made them way in business square, breaking window panes to take possession of the person they blamed of desecration of the Holy Quran.
The unrest continued until hours of On Monday, when officials fired tear gas at an unruly crowd that tried to enter business center.
Police force from neighboring smaller areas was drafted into city in addition to Hyderabad police efforts in maintaining law and order.
Rangers personnel remain deployed around six-story Ruby Plaza on Monday still booked personnel the carrier had also was sent to area.
In addition, the Rangers personnel blocked streets connecting different roads and highways with in mobile market area was located in. Police also paved down barbed wire in trying to block the streets and the rangers wouldn’t let people enter the victim area.

Separately, the police registered first information report (FIR) against involved in Sunday Violence on a complaint of Junior Police Inspector of Airaf town Gul Avan.
The case was filed under section 353 (assault or act to deter public servant from dismissing him duty), 147 (punishment for riots), 148 (riots, armed with deadly weapons), 149 (each member of illegal assembly is guilty of committed offense in prosecution of common object), 427 (hooliganism causing damage in the amount of 50 rupees) and 337H (ii) (punishment for suffered from a reckless or careless act) of Pakistan Penal Code (CPC).
48 suspects have been arrested since Sunday.
A recent FIR reported that the suspects were involved in search and aviation firing while armed with lati, iron bars and weapons.
It said they damaged private as well as government property and prevent officials from releasing them official responsibilities. The applicant said that he and other officials also resorted to air firing to disperse the crowd.
Families looking for alternative housing
Several Hindu and Muslim families living in in business plaza moved to alternative housing after the Sunday riots. Electricity also remained disconnected on Monday.
“We were without power since Sunday,” said Mohammad Iqbal, a resident of square. According to him, the gas supply was disrupted. also was cut off.
Speaking with Dawn.comSSP Hyderabad Amjad Sheikh said the angry mob wanted burn apartments owned by a Hindu community for their alleged involvement in Incident.
He said the police already registered FIR against alleged incident, but the protesters were still obsessed on entrance to the square. official said the incident was brought under control by the use of tear gas on the crowd.
“We had to choose for rod-charging the crowd. They are also tried to attack several temples, but the police prevented the attempt. We expected such attacks to be followed, so the deployment was proactive,” he said.
The crowd tried to attack bahwani temple in Moti Gali, Gurpat Temple in Serogat area and Hindu Sochi community Hall Moti Mohallah Serogat on Sunday evening, but the police prevented the attempt.
Case of blasphemy
On Sunday, a case was registered under Art. 295-B (desecration of Holy Quran) and 34 (common intention) of checkpoint on a complaint of Bilal, son of Bundo Khan Abbasi.
The applicant claimed to have learned that someone had burned the pages of Holy Quran in Rabbi Plaza. He went inside and found out that someone had burned the Holy Quran. Soon, according to him, eight to ten people entered the square.
Bilal claimed that Maulana Amin Zikriya showed him the burnt pages near the elevator. He asked the sanitation worker if he knew the identity of that man who did so, but he remained silent.
According to Bilal, he took possession of sanitation worker and took possession of a little of burned pages. Then he handed over over man, together with burned pages, to the police.
A police officer was attacked while the police mobile was damaged by the crowd. The sanitation worker was also arrested by the police.
