Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Monday granted former prime minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan on bail until August 25, the day after he was prosecuted on terrorism charges.
Pledge plea heard by Judges Mohsin Akhtar Kayani and Judge Babar Sattar, who approved bail and ordered him to apply to the Anti-Terrorist Court (ATC) within those three days.
Imran counsel Babar Awan and Faisal Chaudhry claimed that the head of PTI should be granted bail because he wanted to appear before the ATC, but his house was surrounded by the police.
They also feared that the police personnel could arrest Imran if he appeared in court without bail.

Petition filed for pre-arrest pledge
