British toddler dies in road accident in Irish Republic.
Police said the boy was hit on vehicle next to the village of Ballinagar, in Co Roscommon, shortly after 9 am on Friday.
The boy was helped on the spot, but later stated dead.
His body was taken to the hospital in Galway where post- an autopsy will be performed.

His parents, who remained with family members in rural area in Ireland, still asleep in bed when a 21-month-old baby managed to get out of in house, MailOnline reported.
The neighbor said who pulled to his land, did not notice the child in time.
” parents were still in sleep at that time and informed him that their son still sleeping,” the source told the site.
“Unfortunately they soon discovered that this was not the case and that the child must have left in house on his own.
“Something like it can happen to anyone and it’s a desperately sad tragedy hit this is community”.
