Old man on scooter stabbed with a knife death in West London | UK News

Elderly man riding scooter stabbed death in West London, the Metropolitan Police said.

AT attack happened on Cayton Road in Greenford, Ealing, this afternoon.

The officers were called at 16:06 for reports. of human with knife wounds, and despite the efforts of paramedics he was declared dead on the stage.

Police said the man is believed to be in his 80s and crime scene in place.

There were no arrests.

The Metropolitan Police filed an appeal for anyone with dash cam or bike helmet recording to contact them if they using A40 West Avenue eastbound in in proximity of Cayton Road and Welland Gardens from 15:15 to 16:00.

Chief Detective Inspector Jim Eastwood of the Metropolitan Crime Squad said: “Older victim, who was riding a scooter in in area at that time. If you saw a victim or were captured anyone acting suspiciously in in area, it is imperative that you make contact.”

Chief Superintendent Sean Wilson, lead for police officer in Ealing, said: “This is a terrible incident which, understandably, cause serious anxiety people locally and throughout London. Our thoughts with elderly victim.

Previously on Tuesday 58-year- an elderly woman was stabbed to death death close to Acton Town station in Ealing.

A 21-year-old woman, who was known to the victim, was arrested on suspicion of murder.

There is no suggestion that the two murders are connected.

AT latest deaths means there were 58 murders in London is still year.
