HYDERABAD: Members of shocked Hindu community in Pakistan held a protest demonstration outside Hyderabad press club in connection with in killing of 11 pilgrims from Pakistan in Jodhpur, India, on Sunday (August 14).
According to the Kashmir Media Service, the Hindu protesters rejected the incredible claim by the Indian authorities that the pilgrims had committed mass suicide.
Protesters led by Amarshi Thakur of The Pakistan Minority Alliance said the immigrants had been killed and appealed to the UN, the European Union and the International Court of Justice. of Justice (ICJ) in intervene as well as ensure justice mourners family. The protesters shouted slogans against Indian government and killers.
Mr Thakur said the victims were members of one family and originally residents of Sangarsky district. They left for Jodhpur for pilgrimage a few months back added. He said that their relatives in Sindh received information that they committed joint suicide, according to the Jodhpur police. He said that their relatives and Hindu community in Sangar did not believe this statement.
Mr Thakur said no medical reports of the dead were divided with grieving family. He named for release of certificates of medical examination and delivery over of bodies to their heirs.
The protesters said they were worried about the silence. of human rights organizations in India over of death. All these organizations, he said, should exert pressure on Indian government for broadcast of bodies to heirs.
According to leading Indian newspaper, 11 persons, who five children included found dead on Sunday morning in a hut they lived in in the village of Lodta of Dechu area in Jodhpur.
it is believed that on rejection work as agents for Indian spy agencies against Pakistan, those Hindu pilgrims were shot down through men in a uniform.
