In Cornwall and parts of it, a ban on the use of hoses is introduced. of Devon from August 23, South West Water has announced.
“It first time in 26 years old but we were left with there is no other choice. We need now we need to ban hoses to protect our precious water,” a company spokesman said.
“We have made our best to avoid this ban. We have increased amount of water we can store doubling it since last drought in 1976.
