RORY:
Six mourners died due to suffocation and dozens passed out during the 9th Muharram procession. in in city of Rory, Sind.
According to Edhi sources, three of in six dead mourners who died while trying to pay tribute to the martyrs of Karbala have been identified.
Among them are Dil Sher, son of Morzada and the resident of Guddu, Hasan Patan, resident of Sukkur and Mansour Local Council, son of Bashir Ahmed and resident of Halani. Rescue officials said that dead and the wounded were transferred to the Taluka hospital, after which a large number of people also got to the hospital.
Strict security measures are being taken across the country as mourners mark the 9th. of Muharram with proper solemnity and holiness in memory of Seventh-century martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Hussein (RA) grandson of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
