It wasn’t a whale experience!
Humpback whale caused a real splash on sunday at boarding on boat on the coast of Plymouth, Massachusetts.
Footage shows water creature jumping out of water and landing on A 19-foot boat around 10 a.m. near White Horse Beach, NBC10 reports.
“All of surprise, full gap, 10 feet out of water, clapping on Top of this guy’s boat like his bow goes down basically, into the water, the engine out, full thing pops off whale rolls over in side of everything is fine, but his boat was damaged up”, — said the witness Ryder Parkhurst.
“It was crazy, the guy was just in in wrong place in wrong time, that’s all. Pops up bang… that’s right on onion of boy’s boat.
Plymouth harbormaster Chad Hunter said no one was injured by a whale.
“Things could have been so much worse for everyone is involved” added Hunter.
“Children like tilt over in side of a boat to watch the fish so it’s very lucky that no one was hurt here. Incident like it is quite rare, but very dangerous for yachtsmen.”
Port officials monitored the activity of the whales. in in area from Friday after the boat by chance hit WHALE.


“They were out there for in last three days in a row so much of whales, but they also attraction a lot of yachtsmen, which creates problem obviously after today,” yachtsman Chris Grant said.
“They are beautiful creatures, but you know you have to keep their distance they are still beasts, you know?
The officials said that with increase of fish bait, more whales were attracted to the coastline. The yachtsmen have also recalled that, under the Marine Mammal Protection Act, they required stay at least of 100 feet from mammals.
Plymouth Harbor officials said that since of now there is no obvious violation of Act.
