Prime Minister Shahbaz, Imran Khan trade spines in twitter quarrel

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and PTI Chairman Imran Khan on Saturday got engaged in heated debate on social media blog site, twitter, hours after the federal cabinet approved a decree to bypass all procedures and canceled regulatory checks for sale status assets to foreign countries.

Sharing news story published in a media exit, Khan interrogated how “import government”to be trusted with sale of national assets.

How can I import government delivered to power in a US conspiracy led by crime ministerwhox family together with [PPP Co-Chairman Asif Ali] Zardari wrote volumes on their corruption, can be trusted with sale of national assets [and] it is too [through] bypassing all procedural [and] due diligence,” said the head of PTI.

Khan also accused the two ruling families for “plunder Pakistan for in last 30 years” and for “current economic crisis”.

“Those thieves should will never be allowed to sell our national assets in roundabout way they try. The nation will never trust them with our national assets,” He wrote.

Khan suffers from memory loss: Sharif responds

Responding to tweets from the PTI chairman, PM Shehbaz said Khan was “suffering from memory loss and needs a few reminders.”

“First, according to a Transparency International report, corruption increased during its rule. Even transfers/messages were on sale in addition to big scams. Two, people pay price of how he mismanaged economy,” he added.

Emphasizing the third point, Sharif accused Khan of “hurt deeply” global prestige and standing of country and its relations with friendly countries.

“Four, he lost his sense of balance in his lust for power, as evidenced by his habitual appeal to lies, propaganda [and] blatant twisting of facts,” concluded prime minister.
