Boris Johnson is considering not replacing Lord Geidt as his ethics adviser after he abruptly left, accusing prime minister of preparation of “intentional and purposeful violation of of ministerial code.
Geidt, and former private secretary queen, is second independent adviser on Ministerial interests to resign in protest against Johnson’s behavior in under two years old.
Downing Street announced this afternoon that Johnson will hold review into a “vital” function that an advisor performs before deciding to replace it.
In his resignation letter released today, Geidt said he was in “impossible and odious position” on the part of government And what about Johnson plans to risk violation international law with subsidies for the steel industry will “make a mockery of”
