Lahore Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Temporary bail approved on Friday of top leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in Punjab one day after issuance without collateral arrest guarantees for them over numerous allegations, including alleged violations of Section 144 and attacks on Law enforcement on May 25 is the day PTI workers went to Islamabad.
According to a court order issued on Thursday, investigator Muhammad Salim requested the extradition of of unsecured arrest guarantees for PTI leaders Mian Akram Usman, Muhammad Zubair Khan Niazi, Imtiaz Mehmood Sheikh, Mian Mehmood ur Rashid, Mian Shafkat Mehmood, Malik Nadeem Abbas, Murad Raas, Mian Aslam Iqbal, Yasser Gilani, Dr. Yasmine Rashid, Hammad Azhar, Andlib Abbas and Ijaz Chaudhry.
Orders searched on grounds of their “deliberate concealment in order avoid them arrest and them arrest is necessary for completion of investigation”.
Subsequently, the court of Judge Abher Gul Khan issued a warrant.
By Friday, all PTI leaders have been named. in business profits in court and applied for intermediate deposit. The court granted their requests and forbade the police to detain them until 17 June.
Last month, the Punjab police registered total of 42 criminal cases against PTI senior managers and workers for alleged campaigning in in aftermath of long march.
It said that three police officers were tortured. in line of duty while 100 others were wounded, three of them seriously in alleged attacks by PTI workers. Of them 34 personnel were injured in Lahore, 48 in Attock and nine in Sargodha, Mianwali, Rawalpindi, Jhelum and other cities.
Previously to the police official said Dawn that 12 cases were registered in Lahore five in Sialkot, four pieces in Rawalpindi and Sargodha, three in Mianwali and two in Attock and Jhelum, and one FIR has been filed in Chakval.

AT media speak outside court after posting bail, Hammad Azhar charged PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz and Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah of turning the country into a “fascist police state”.
