Selected Committee of the House of Representatives plans to use future hearing to study how former President Donald Trump used the channel, lawyer John Eastman, in his plans undermine certification of elections on January 6, 2021
The committee received hundreds of Eastman’s email on topic as recently as yesterday, although they have not yet been made public.
In response to the House Committee, Eastman invoked his Fifth Amendment right protecting him from self-incrimination, so he did not testify.

Cheney then said that the committee had learned new details about Trump campaign and the efforts of other Trump associates to educate Republicans in multiple states to create intentionally false voter rolls and turn those rolls over to Congress and the National Archives, falsely claiming that Trump won declares that he really lost.
On Wednesday, the House Committee was still receiving some of Eastman’s email. A handful of additional e-mails they received yesterday were mostly about on voter plan, and getting state legislators on board with This is by court order.
