ISLAMABAD: Former prime minister Imran Khan once again was elected unobjected as chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) after two commissions withdrew in his favor.
Elections of Imran Khan was held during the meeting of PTI National Conference in Islamabad.
Two commissions led by PTI leaders Umar Sarfaraz Cheema and Naik Mohammed withdrew from the elections, after which Imran Khan was elected without resistance.
Besides him, Shah Mahmoud Qureshi and Asad Umar were also re-elected as vice chairman and secretary-general of in party, respectively.
