LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) leaders Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Chaudhry Pervez Elahi decide to part ways over political differences, reports ARY News. on Wednesday.
Widening cracks, sources say in PML-Q seems to have become more pronounced on Friday after two of this is key faces were found divided on political lines.
Sources told ARY News that Punjab Assembly Speaker Pervez Elahi is a supporter of of Pakistani Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan while Chaudhry Shujaat wants support Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
Chaudhry Shujaat wants to see him children with PML-N in future sources added. Meanwhile, Pervez Elahi son Muniz Elahi is eyeing his political future with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
Previously in day Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited house of head of PML-Q Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, in Lahore. Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif inquired about the state of health of Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain. He prayed for quick recovery of political leader.
During the meeting, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain presented his recommendations for upcoming fiscal year of 2022-23. Chaudhry Sahab’s recommendations: people- friendly and will definitely make them a part of in the budget, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said.
