Uvalde High School Police Chief Pete Arredondo absent from first meeting as new city council member

Uwalde School District Police Chief on Tuesday didn’t attend what would have been his first city board meeting as a new member. Pete Arredondo lay low in answer to national firestorm of criticism was directed at his hesitation to stand up to the shooter who killed 19 children and two Robb Elementary School teachers on May 24th.
