Yellowstone National Park, Wayo. – Bison gored 25-year-old woman in Yellowstone National Park.
A buffalo walked along the boardwalk in Black Sand Basin, just north of Old Faithful, when a woman approached him on Monday, according to a park statement. She was within 10 feet before the animal speared her and threw her 10 feet. in in air.
A Grove City, Ohio woman suffered a stab wound and other injuries.
The park’s medical staff responded and delivered her. via ambulance to hospital in Idaho.
Park officials say it’s first reported that the bison pierces it year.
The park said in a statement that bison are unpredictable, injured more people in Yellowstone than any other animal, and may run three times faster than humans.
Park rules require visitors remain more than 25 yards away from the bison.
