BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Two teenagers were shot in downtown Baltimoreone of their deadly – near the harbor on Saturday, according to authorities.

They are found 17-year-old girl and 17-year-old boy with gunshot wounds in block 300 of East Pratt Street. 17-yearThe old man died from his injuries.
Baltimore Police Commissioner Michael Harrison told reporters that the police were in in area at that time of shooting.
“There were about 20 officers. in this is very area”Harrison said. “They were in block when it happened and arrived to the victims in seconds.”

Large police presence in popular part of According to Harrison, the shooter was not stopped in downtown Baltimore. There were 20 officers. in in area at that time of shooting, he said.
Baltimore Police Department plans have the same number of officers in city center area over remainder of in holiday weekend, he said. But the number of officers deployed in in area is not main issueHarrison said.
“It’s about them doing it right in front of the police, he said. “So it’s about them. bad decision to do this in despite of police officers. So this is a more important conversation than deployment.”
