LAHORE: Punjab Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Pervez Elahi on Thursday said that current rulers are visiting for a few days and they will have to respond for their unconstitutional and illegal steps.
Dig in use of rude force against PTI protesters in Punjab government Elahi said Punjab province made police state because the police are illegally used to arrest elected representatives without any reason, while their families
were also persecuted.
Pervez Elahi also condemned police torture on Mian Aslam Iqbal, Omar Ayub
Khan and several members of National and Punjab Assembly.
He also said that the police tortured deputies and PTI employees. over directions of Punjab CM Hamza Shehbaz and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
LHC ordered the release of arrested PTI employees
Meanwhile, Lahore Rawalpindi High Court bench on Thursday ordered immediate release of PTI employees who were arrested before the long PTI march.
Judge Sardar Ahmed Naeem of Bench LHC Rawalpindi accepted the order after listening to the arguments of lawyers for those arrested, Dr. Babar Avan and lawyer Sardar Abdul Razik.
It is pertinent to note that the petitions were filed senior lawyers against in arrest of PTI workers and raids on homes.
Lawyers took position that the police took action in Rawalpindi division to prevent PTI workers from participating in long march and more than 100 workers were arrested and sent to jail.

TANK also dispatched workers from Rawalpindi, Jhelum, Attock and Chakwal should also be released.
