Durham, North Carolina – Monday afternoon in Durham has been featured gun violence. Two different shots in two different parts of in city left the neighbors are shaking.

The bullets smashed the jeep back window. The man went into a ditch and crashed into two cars in parking space of Jimmy’s famous hot dogs.
Hot dog stand also took a hit. Two windows were shattered by bullets.
Witnesses like JT rushed to crash scene
“I heard shots from this direction”said JT. “I went to check on his. He was dead. I called the police, others people called the police.”
Two hours later, second there was a shooting just five miles on Wabash street and Ridgway Avenue.
The police said one the man was injured and taken to the hospital with serious injury.
Police forensics team marked tens of parts of evidence at the scene, including bullet casings scattered around on in street.
Back on NK 55, a small protest formed, call signs for end to violence.
Craig Charity said he lost son shooting in Darem two years ago.
“Loss son or daughter is what you never get over” Charity said.
Now he is trying to change the situation.
“We may not be able to stop it, but we can slow it down down” Charity said.

Inhabitants back on Wabash Street told WRAL News that they tried to call 911 several times. times and got no answer and they said it took police more than thirty minutes to get to the scene.
